I'm so excited to start school! I told Mommy that I wanted to have my picture taken with my new friend Emma even before I went today. Here we are!
I also brought a special snack and activity for my new friends. Mommy roasted some crispy kale for me to bring in and share and we brought enough kale for every kid to have one of the 2 types of kale we grow. I showed them how to strip it from the stems! I told Mommy my favorite part of school today was the kale and stripping it.

Connie, she LOVES her new little friend Emma, who is a substitute (5 year old) mommy to her! I see this sweet Emma being the "mommy" to them all! So sweet!
