Little Lia's Land: I am 6 months old today in this video!!!

I am VERY excited! Mom, Dad, Grandma & Grandpa just sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me. Dad got me a very special birthday cake for my very own and there were six candles lit on it for me! What a great family I have!

Things Lia is doing/accomplishing

Finally learned to BLOW her own nose! So proud! March 2012
First "chore" today - ran the vacumm in the DR! 9-6-11
SUPER great about going potty! No accidents and is doing great!!! 6-11-11
Wanted to sit on potty tonight...actually tinkled a little bit! So proud! 9-16-10
Signed the letters A - J today 9-5
Has just progressed to saying wa-ter vs. wa-wa in the last few days. 8-1
Can now talk soooo much. We are still encouraging signing language, but it is harder these days b/c it just adds another thing for (us all) to learn! 8-1
Started talking in 3 word sentences at 21 months!
Can now say "no" "mami = mommy" and "bo-bee=broccoli" 3-12
Saying more words including "apple" and "Andy" 02-18
Really into seasoning her food & mine (including her water) while we ate lunch today after she heard me talking to her Dad about her seasoning things. 02-10
REALLY into her books - especially at bedtime and after nap and when she wakes in the morning. Signs book and pig too (loves her babe the pig book) 02-3
Says (and waves) bye and bu-bye when she hears others saying it (ie: on the phone) 02-3
excited about saying "ba" which means ball, and also boat & bowl - depending on how she is signing and what she is doing 02-10
Can say Da-dee 01-31
Can now sign CORRECTLY Mommy & Daddy using her thumb! 01-13
Can put her mouth into the O and say "ho ho ho" for what Santa says 12-15-09
Is up to about 60 signs 11-10-09
LOVES books and brings them to you to read to her 10-09
Climbed up onto the sofa all by herself today 09-22
Is rounding out her mouth to make the sound "ba" 09-18
LOVES to sign "hat" - when she sees someone with a hat or her own hat. And can put her hat on. 09-05
Can Sign "more" and "milk" (when she wants to) 8-25
Walked 60 steps 8-20
Can turn around and get down off the bed by herself 8-13
10 steps yesterday and 12 today OMG 7-27
Took 6 steps today - in a row!!! 7-20
Eating local corn - right off the ear! 7-18
Finally saying "da-da" in reference to her Daddy 7-13
Took her first 2 little steps on her own towards something! 7-1
Can give kisses!!! 6-24
Noticed today her upper left lateral incisor has broken through 6-20
Is waving hello and goodbye 6-17
Can give "high five" 6-14
Instead of crawling on her knees, she "crab walks" on concrete so that she doesn't hurt her knees. 6-16
Lifting hands above head "high" and smiling 6-3
Says "Mommy" (has been saying momma and mom) now 6-2
Feeding herself cheerios & grilled cheese 6-1
Standing up by herself for a few seconds 5-22
