My friend Maya's birthday party!

This morning Mommy & I went to my friend Maya's 2 year birthday party!  That playset in the back (which I loved) was a gift for her.

Time to eat so I helped get Maya to the table.

Maya's mom Tami made these pretty star cupcakes because Maya can sing twinkle twinkle little star!

Painting & Sleeping

Today Mommy took me to the Blue Manatee for Story Time and Art Class.  I enjoyed the watercoloring so well that afterwards we bought some watercolors so that I can paint at home!

I LOVE my Ivy doll and she now sleeps with me at nap time and in the evening.

Candy Shoes!

I really love my candy shoes AND I'm pretty good at putting them on all by mySELF...most of the time.

2 Year check up today!

Today I had my 2 year check up.  I had a lot of fun at the Doctor's (signing Doctor too!) office.  They have lots of cool toys.  Mommy's proud of my statistics:  90% for Length for Age and 50 % for Weight for Age.  I am 35 1/2" tall and almost 27 lbs!  I asked Mommy for more doctor today but she said no, we need to wait until we NEED the doctor.  I wish I could go back and play there!

Birthday Morning spent at the ZOO!

We went inside the petting zoo today and I got to pet a bird and a snake!

The goats were all over Daddy - who fed them!

The Children's Pettying Zoo also has a cool playgound area!

Helping Mommy with tomatillos!

I helped Mommy today peel the tomatillos for some Tomatillo Salsa.

It was really fun and look!  I'm proud of my work!  I'm a good helper!!!  :)

Matching outfits!

You may not be able to see it but Stella and I have MATCHING outfits on tonight!  Completely unplanned...and unexpected.  Debbie Manis just gave me this dress today as a gift and I put it on, and then my friend Stella showed up in the exact same dress....crazy!  :)

No nap!

Lia is sleeping now so Mommy is posting.  This is so funny.  My girl often BRINGS up nap time when we're headed home in the car (right around nap time).  I try to CHANGE the subject but often she is focused on it.  Like this afternoon...."no nap" (repeatedly) was what I heard from the back seat as we left our pool party - a little before 2 (NAP time or beyond).   Just 5 minutes beyond the "no nap" and me talking about our amazing day and all the things we did, saw, ate, etc. to get her OFF of NAP time...look at what happened!

Tonight Mommy's friend Noelle came over for dinner with her 2 nephews Bobby & Alex, I call them the "boys" and can sign it too!  We had a pizza party and loved hanging outside.

My 2 Year Family Birthday Party!

I don't turn 2 until August 4th but we had my family party earlier.  It was a super hot day but I sure do enjoy playing corn hole!
