Another hat!

So Mom can't help herself, she's knitted me another hat and has several more she plans to make for me. Thank God I look good in hats (if I don't say so myself!). :)

Bath Time & Crawling Time!

I love baths and I love being naked!
Dad called today and when I was trying to go for the phone, I actually got on my knees and crawled 2 times!!!

Mommy's knitting me a hat!

Check out my new hat - in the making. You can see a picture of it on the cover of "Baby Beanies" - but we changed the colors. The base color is a dark fuschia and we'll have teal and purple bobbles on it!

UPDATE: It's Monday afternoon and Mommy's finished the hat - minus the embellishments. It's now Tuesday morning Feb 22nd - I woke up and it's finished (except for a few more bobbles)! My very first hand-made hat made just for me!!! And it's big enough for me to grow into so I'll have it for a long time. Thanks Mommy! :) Daddy will see this tomorrow at Grandma & Grandpa Grimes's!

I'm a silly excited girl!

6 month check up

Today I had my 6 month check up. I'm doing great and am now 26 3/4" long and 16 lbs. 6 oz. - exactly 11 pounds more than the day I was born. This puts me in the 80% for my height and 40% for my weight - looks like I'm going to be tall and thin! :)

Peek A Boo!

I am 6 months old today in this video!!!

I am VERY excited! Mom, Dad, Grandma & Grandpa just sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me. Dad got me a very special birthday cake for my very own and there were six candles lit on it for me! What a great family I have!

Dad got me a birthday cake - cheese cake (Mom's favorite) - and a bottle of champagne (Dad's favorite) to celebrate. Although I didn't get to taste any of it!

One of my favorite things to do - really - is to go exploring on walks with mom - anywhere - the beach, the grocery store, in our house, walks around the neighborhood. I was born to move!Grandma bought me this cool purple hat (it matches the bathing suit she bought me too) when we were at Goodwill!

Sunday, January 18th

Aunt Connie came to hang out with me and Mom today! How lucky are we! I had a lot of fun while she held me and played with me.

It's FREEZING here!

Melissa came to visit me tonight! Dad says look how cold it is here b/c she was all bundled up - even when inside!Even so, I am just plain happier when I'm naked (or almost!). Sometimes when I get fussy Mom and Dad just take off my clothes and presto! a happy Lia!
Dad's been teaching me how to stand up in my crib!
