I turned 1 year old today!

I'm in the kitchen this morning happy to be 1 year old!!!

Gorman Heritage Farm's Tractor Jam!

Mom and I went to GHF tonight to help support them in their goal of purchasing a new (or used) tractor. Unfortunately, Dad was too busy painting signs to join us but we did bring him back a big pulled pork sandwich made from GHF's own pigs. I ate some of it too and it was delicious! I saw all kinds of animals: rabbits, goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, cows, mules and miniature dwarf horses (I liked these best and got very excited about getting close to one, Shorty, who usually doesn't come out to be with people but I got lucky). I also got to see a live band playing (loud) good country music. I didn't mind how loud it was and was charming people by the band when I walked around and smiled at them.

In search of the CATS!!!

I sure love my Aunt Patti but I also LOVE her cats - Una and Bridgette! Here I am trying to see them while they are under the bed and also pointing to them while Aunt Patti is holding me!

Santa Monica Pier

We went to Santa Monica Pier with Aunt Patti and it was super FUN!

Went to Zuma Beach!

Uncle Joe and Aunt Patti took Mommy & I to Zuma Beach today! It was sort of cloudy but still really nice. There were tons of families out together since it was Sunday. I was a little leary of walking on the sand, dry or wet but still enjoyed the beach and the water. We packed a picnic lunch for the beach too!

It was SUPER busy on the roads tho and took us quite a lot of time to get there and back, check out the traffic on the Highway as we hiked back to the car!

My eye

Can you see the darker brown star-burst around my iris? And surrounded by the lighter brown...along with the lighter blue and darker blue border?! What beautiful eyes I have!!

We went to Beverly Hills today and right outside the BEST place for cupcakes - Sprinkles - I was kissing Mommy. Patti got these pictures of us.

My Grimes Cousins

Here I am with my cousin Alex, Aunt Jessi and cousin Marissa. I had a great time playing with the Grimes's all night in their big family room. I even came home with a stuffed dog that they gave me - Dad helped me name it - Butter!

My Stanton Cousins

Here I am with my cousins Whitney and Mariah. Mike had to go back to Boston and we missed getting any photos of him! I had a lot of fun with my new cousins.

My first Merry-Go-Round...

..at the beach in Charlotte near the house Dad grew up in. I was with my Mommy and my Auntie Debo! It was really fun and I couldn't help but look and point at everything around me! One way you can tell I'm really enjoying myself is when I shake my hands!

I love making myself at home in the cabinet right inside of our front door! It's my version of a "window" seat!

Happy 4th of July!

It was rainy today but we still enjoyed the 4th.

I even slept peacefully at night when there were tons of fireworks going off!

Dinner at Grandma & Grandpa Grimes's.

Mom and I went to Grandma & Grandpas for dinner tonight. Here I am playing with Grandpa! I had a lot of fun!

...with Mommy chewing on my favorite teether - thanks Grandma Grimes! Do you see the bracelets Mommy made me? I wore them for a couple hours! Also today I went to the stairs on my own and decided to climb all the way up. And I'm standing on my own more and more.

I'm eating mini grilled cheese with my own hands!

I really like grilled cheese, especially the way Mommy makes it for me with the mini rye bread!
